nule was created to redefine our relationship with the sun and change the rules of the game: to transform protection into desire, prevention into aesthetics, and awareness into style.
nule is clothing that exists between fashion and beauty, where each garment is designed to protect the skin over time. We believe in a generation that chooses intentionally, that builds its future by laying foundations in the present. The sun is not an enemy or an excess to be pursued: it is an element to be understood. nule is for those who want to experience light consciously, without sacrificing beauty.
nule is the nuova cultura del sole (new sun culture): the name combines "nu" from "nuova" (new) and "le" from "sole" (sun), encapsulating our mission.
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE
Not all fabrics protect equally: the UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) measures a fabric's ability to block UV rays and turn a garment into a prevention tool. Making this a daily awareness is part of our mission.
Exposure to UV rays can cause immediate damage, such as sunburn, and irreparable and progressive damage over time, such as photoaging and skin diseases, including melanoma. This is why we believe that protection should not be an occasional act but part of culture: with a UPF certified fabric, protection becomes constant.
THE FOUNDER
We are Elisa and Francesca, friends since college and co-founders united by a common vision. After experiencing Asia, we observed a different approach to sun protection: not just with cream, but through fabrics, habits, and prevention integrated into everyday life. From this awareness, nule was born, with the ambition of bringing a new balance to Europe between sun protection and design, aesthetics and responsibility, fashion and beauty.
